
David has been teaching golf since 1990 and in this time has built up a reputation as one of Australia's leading teaching professionals. Golf Magazine rated him in the Top 50 in Australia. David's students range from new golfers to successful tournament players. Achievements students have had under David's guidance include Men's Queensland Amateur Champion, Ladies Queensland Amateur Champion, Girls Queensland Amateur Champion, Junior International Girls Champion, Runner Up Men's Australian Open, US Nationwide Event Winner, Ladies European Tour events Winner, Men's Queensland Open Winner, Men's Queensland PGA Winner and many more professional and Amateur event winners. Between 2000 and 2006 David was selected as the coach of the Queensland State Colts Team for Men which resulted in the team winning the Interstate series one year and very good performances in other years. His expertise, knowledge and continuing efforts to stay up to date with the latest golfing breakthroughs have earned him a Level 5 AAA accreditation, the highest coaching accreditation possible with the Australian PGA. David is also a Titleist approved club fitter.

Ann Wilson has been playing golf since 1974 representing QLD and Australia and winning many amateur championships. In 1986 Ann turned Professional & played on the European tour for 2 seasons. From 1988 to 1998 Ann was based in Tokyo, and played on the Japanese Tour winning the Akita TV Cup in 1995. Ann was awarded the Australian Sports medal in 2000. Since being accredited as a teaching professional in 1994 Ann has taught for Jack Nicklaus Golf Schools, Greg Norman Golf Foundation, Women's Golf QLD and many more before Lakelands Golf Club were proud to have Ann join as part of their team in 1998. To Ann's credit she was President of the Australian Ladies Professional Golf for 13 years and remains a prominent member of the board of directors today. Along with David, Ann has also been rated in Golf Magazine's top 50 leading teaching professionals in Australia. Ann's teaching philosophy is to start with good foundations, which will allow the player to swing the club more correctly. Get back to basics first with correct Grip placement, Aim parallel, balanced posture and appropriate Ball position. Keep the amount of swing information simple and precise.
